Renewal of Expiring or Expired Passport

1.Go to www.immigration.gov.ng to fill the Application form

2.Print out the online Application Form (signed and dated)

3.Make online payment and print the online payment receipt

4.Write a formal application letter which must contain the following information:

a.Your home address

b.Your telephone number and

c.Request that you want your passport to be renewed

5.A copy of your Nigerian passport (MRP or E-Passport)

6.Scan all these documents to the Embassy via

consular@nigeriaembassyvienna.com

(Please note: Applicants without passports are deemed to have lost or intentionally damaged them, and so would be requested to pay the deposit of 50)

Change of Marital Status

A married woman who wants to take up her husband's family name must provide the following:

1.Go to www.immigration.gov.ng to fill the Application form

2.Print out the online Application Form (signed and dated)

3.Make online payment and print the online payment receipt

4.Write a formal application letter which must contain the following information:

a.Your home address

b.Your telephone number and

c.Request that you want to bear your husband's family name

5.A copy of your Nigerian passport

6.Copy of marriage certificate (duly attested)

7.Scan all these documents to the Embassy via

Replacement of Lost / Intentionally Damaged Passport

1.Go to www.immigration.gov.ng to fill the Application form

2.Print out the online Application Form (signed and dated)

3.Make online payment and print the online payment receipt

4.Write a formal application letter which must contain the following information:

a.Your home address

b.Your telephone number

c.Request for new passport due to damaged passport

d.Copy of Police Report of loss of passport

5.A copy of damaged passport

6.Scan all these documents to the Embassy via

Please note that passport re-issue requiring bio-data change can only be effected at the NIS Headquarters in Abuja
