Application Procedures and Requirements

To apply for a Nigerian e-passport, please visit: www.immigration.gov.ng,

Click on apply online

Click on e-passport application form;

 Standard Passport

 Austria  as the processing country

Log in through either a Google or yahoo email address

Fill the form, submit online and print out two copies of the Application Form

Printout an Acknowledgement Slip that shows application has been accepted

Proceed to payment and pay the passport fee of $65 (US Dollars) with your Visa card; Payment must be made online directly to NIS account hence cash payment or bank transfers are not acceptable, please.

Print out Payment Receipt

Consular Service is strictly from 9.30am to 12.30pm

Submission of documents for appointment:

Monday to Thursday 9:30 Hour  12.30 Hour

Collection of Passports:

Monday to Wednesday (ONLY) 14.00 Hour  16 Hour

Appointment Procedure

Complete the application procedure online, and print out completed Form and confirmation of payment slip.

Send SMS (SMS only) to phone number 068000000000 containing your Reference Number and Application ID. Within one hour, an appointment date will be forwarded to your mobile phone.

First E-passport Application

1.Go to www.immigration.gov.ng to fill the Application form

2.Print out the online Application Form (signed and dated)

3.Make online payment and print the online payment receipt

4.Two passport photographs
